Ken Monjero
Ken is a research assistant at the Kenya Agricultural and Livestock Research Organization (KALRO) in Nairobi. He has worked with biotechnology tools in both livestock and crop research and has experience in the diagnosis and management of plant disease. He pioneered the establishment of the KARLO Children Science Centre Kenya, which empowers young people through hands-on and minds-on exploration. Ken is an Alliance for Science Global Leadership Fellow. He earned his undergraduate from Kenya Methodist University and is now finishing his master’s degree in crop protection at the University of Nairobi.
