Albert is a youth leader and social innovator who has devoted himself to academics and service-oriented activities for underprivileged youth and farmer sectors. He organized the UP Genetic Researchers and Agricultural Innovators Society (UP GRAINS), which spearheaded a series of informational workshops on biotechnology concepts for high school students in far-flung agricultural communities. For this initiative, UP GRAINS was named an Accomplished Youth Organization for 2018.

Albert, who holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural biotechnology from the University of the Philippines, is pursuing a career in science communication.
