Abigail Akoto

Abigail is a Ghanaian who works as a program assistant with the Programs for Biosafety Systems (PBS), a project facilitated by the International Food Policy Research Institute. She is the focal person for monitoring Ghanaian media stories related to biotechnology and biosafety and participates in PBS training and workshop programs for the media, judicial service, farmers and farmer-based organizations, and academic institutions. Abigail is an Alliance for Science Global Leadership Fellow who holds a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology and biotechnology from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana.
