Sol Guerrero Ortiz

Sol Guerrero Ortiz is in the final stage of obtaining her master’s degree in wildlife conservation and management at the National University of Costa Rica (UNA). Her emphasis is on human-carnivore conflict management. She worked with the Tlahuica indigenous community in central Mexico as part of her undergraduate studies in biology at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Her primary interest is sustainable development, particularly helping rural and indigenous communities improve their quality of life. She is a member of the International Institute of Wildlife Conservation and Management (ICOMVIS) and the Mexican Association of Ethnobiology.”
