About 95 percent of all U.S. livestock eat GMO feed. This GMO feed, and the animals that consume it, are safe, says Dr. Alison Van Eenennaam, chair of the Department of Animal Science, University of California – Davis. Studies have found no detrimental effects on animals from consuming GE feed, and no changes in their productivity or health.
